Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Happy with Several Visits I'll try to keep this short and sweet. I have recently been experiencing a loud noise coming from my suspension so I thought I'd schedule an appointment at a local FireStone location to have the noise diagnosed and while there, take care of some other things (that only need to be taken care of IF NEEDED) so when I scheduled the appointment online, I check marked the "service brakes, tires, etc...". Apparently when you check these "service" categories, they will completely overlook the initial reason you take your vehicle there and only install brakes and tires whether you need them or not. I recieved a phone call from a technician at the end of the day saying he would not be able to get to my truck until the next day, even though I brought the truck in at noon. Okay, I thought this was a little bit of a bummer but since I had so much noted to look at, I thought maybe they just need more time to take care of all the issues so I let it slide and got a ride to and from work the next day. I was told I'd recieve a phone call at noon to let me the know the status. Next day, Noon comes around. No call... 4 o'clock rolls around. No call. I CALL MYSELF and ask for a status update and am told that the tire size they have marked down was not the same size as the current size on my truck (a lot smaller). I said whatever, just put them on (I didn't need a monster truck anyways). This wasn't an issue until a couple weeks later when air continuously leaked out of the rims that weren't sealed properly. I finally recieved a call at the end of the day saying my truck was done and ready to be picked up. I returned to the shop to pick up the truck. I was informed at the counter that the "Lifetime Alignment" I was reccomended by the tech that worked on my vehicle to purchase could not be done given a control arm "had no play in it". So I paid for an alignment that couldn't be accomplished... It would have been nice to know this BEFORE I PAID FOR IT! Also, they could not find the noise that I had to explain to them multiple times when I originally brought the truck in to have diagnosed, BEFORE DOING ALL THE SERVICING to it. So they said to me, take it home and let us know if you hear it again. I left, not happy. So driving home, pull into my driveway. Sure enough, the noise is still there only louder now along with a "squeaky noise" coming from somewhere underneath the truck. Now the truck sounds like it's about to fall apart and I am out almost $1,500 with nothing to show for other than the brakes they replaced. I have taken my truck in to this shop now a total of 5 times now trying to explain to them the noise they can't hear and I dread having to return again. I've had two flat tires since this visit and have had both of them repaired elsewhere. Things to watch out for at this place: - Even if you schedule a time to bring your vehicle in, don't count on it being serviced or even looked at until the next day. Plan rides accordingly! - Make sure you give the specific details to the actual techs working on your vehicle. For some reason the things they write down never make it over to the actual garage where the techs work... - Don't listen to their advice when it comes to up-selling, they are mearly trying to take advantage of you withought thinking of your situation - Do not call them if you are already in a bad mood. They are good at giving you bad news in the least helpful way possible. - No professionalism. No details were given. No options were given - "You need this"... click click (of the mouse) - Don't take your vehicle in just because they have coupons or specials. They will forget to even apply them or use them unless you remind them multiple times. I hope I was of help to some of you! I will never visit again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Service While I was in Omaha, NE celebrating my husband's grandmother's 90th birthday, I took my vehicle to the Firestone at 302 S 72nd St. The staff was very friendly and my wait wasn't long still had time to spend with family.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid this place!!! I was told I had a list of major things I needed to have repaired on my car. I decided I had no choice but to have everything repaired. A few months later I sold my car to a friend who had a bumper to bumper inspection done on my car. I was told that all the repairs I had paid for had been done very poorly. Even having new tires put on had been done unprofessionally! They stripped the lug nuts. I later found out that the mechanic who had worked on my car no longer worked there but obviously that didn't help me.
