Rated 5 out of 5 by from Customer Service My experience with Firestone was exceptional. Although they had a difficult firguring out the problem and had my vehicle for 2 weeks. They made sure we were accommodated the entire time. I can't remember the names but the manager and an African American female exhibited excellent patience and customer service. I would highly recommend this firestone. I had plans on sending a letter but never got around to it. Thank you again for this survey.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Typical National Chain Store For the past few years I have used Firestone for tires, and other miscellaneous maintenance issues like windshield wipers. I like the road hazard repair warranty and I like that I can locate a Firestone in most cities. The only real "complaint" I have, is the "nickel and diming" done at the conclusion of each visit. For example, I took my car in for a battery a few weeks ago. When I was going over the paperwork and getting ready to pay, the person helping me noted that my windshield wipers were "streaking" and should be replaced. I told him that they had just been replaced a month and a half prior ... right there in that shop. He then said that windshield wipers need to be replaced every couple of months. No they don't. I told him that when it was done last time, they told me every 6 months. This sort of exchange is what makes customers become wary and suspicious. When you are told contradictory information by the same shop within a matter of a couple months, you begin to wonder if it is lack of knowledge or an attempt to compel you to perform unnecessary repairs and maintenance. And it is the yellow flag that causes me to give a 3 star rating.
